scripts

I look back at yesterday - considering the absence of time boundaries, it could have been anytime, even before the cannibals' revolution - and I think; how could I have described, my thirst and desire to be drenched, drowned in such light' flow, without having it burning my sensory feelings membrane, heart retina, bursting pupil for shattered iris. Pleated lids and yet blinded, if I could breath rays into my lungs, surely would I spit lava and exhale smoke.

Of course, hearing those scripts and unpuzzled iconoclasms, they thought well of seeking ignition, vainly grasping cryptic fuel (magma).

"I never caught a beam of light with my divided limb sticks."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And I guess that she was probably cursed, haunted by like a sweet, stretched poison, a killer snake, speeding like a snail, dipped in arsenic, pumped and drenched - in her own blood. I dreamed instincts of destructions, for her own genuine protection.

-she is aiming at her brains!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By the window, rolled up on myself like my limbs are dead, bones: shattered, liquified or dusted by the flame... Through the glass, just enough sun to wear in spring, rays falling on me like thin rain. Please, wash my old leather, too many seasons for one'(s) skin. I keep my eyes closed; four pairs of lids couldn't be too much. And it seems, pictured behind those blinds, the same animated sequences moving there, outside. Reverie or dream? Life always was too me something strange, unrealistic or maybe, a fantastic reality, paranormal, they would say. I never was really good at sorting truth from imagination. So, with time, I just figured out I'd look at them as both part of one bigger entity. My life, or the world; I don't know, sound the same to me. All I'll ever know...

roses and chains

i paid myself a little designing trip in the past few days... combined crochet techniques with knitting needles and principles, on a bigger scale... and here's the result!

the scarf is made of 4 smaller ones, of different sizes and shapes, attached together in 3 different points; with strings hanging and 3 roses

i used to blends:
-50% soya/ 50% acrylic
-86% bamboo/ 12% acrylic/ 2% polyester

and i'm dreaming...

and i'm dreaming;
of translucent eyes
blinding skylights
brightly soaked rooms

rolled, scratched, peeling white paint,
faded damasks,
dusty vases.

and i'm dreaming;
of a blue toned reality,
moving polaroids,
new souvenirs: infinity.

fresh breath of an opened window,
sheer curtains, laughing
two ghosts, laying.

and i'm dreaming;
for (our) outbroken leather, light cottons,
destroyed chiffons,
torn up lace

mistaken for spiderwebs,
ripped, stitched silk,
our threaded lives
(on canvas)

and i'm dreaming;
brushing the smoke off your eyes,
like the holes of your face
ropes to your soul.

hanging upon my dirty hands
unforgotten alphabets
blowing clouds.

and i'm dreaming;
a green garden, ours, and a tree
growing from ashes, death
in the middle, a mess.

luxurious fruits for thirst
a shell, for show
our running roots
(from tomorrow)

sewing& office sessions :O

i know, i know; i've been a terrible blogger lately :S (not like i've ever been so good though haha). i've been spending a lot of time on some "office/ official" stuff to be able to spend more time creating, improving and being able to sell my products in stores. i still have lots of work on that regard to do in the following weeks, as for money aspect, possibility of developpement, etc. i will expand a bit more on the subject when i will have more informations myself! don't hesitate though if you have any questions :)

on another note, i've been feeling like using my creativity for other purposes than the (most) usual knitting. lately, i've been looking for a hoodie for the summer, and since i couldn't find what i wanted, or simply couldn't afford it (usual truth); i simply decided to sew one myself! i was a little nervous since i hadn't really use my machine for almost two years. project went well, happy with the result, although i wanna modify a bit my pattern next time...

gradient spring scarf

I had to make this scarf last week, as a special request for a customer. It was a really fun project. First I had already played with gradient and shades and all, but i really wanted to make the softest gradient possibly here. Also, the two tones the customer had chosen were perfect to mix together. I chose merino wool, as it was really soft and light, so perfect for spring weather. This scarf is not as long as what I've previously made this fall/ winter. As you can also see, the knit is irregular and is tighter on the ends than in the middle (also to make it lighter for spring).
